If you’re a fan of the Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD, you’ll soon have even more options to choose from when customizing your own. Here’s a brief overview of some of the updates this model will boast for the 2021 model year.
For starters, the 2021 Silverado 2500HD will retire two exterior paint colors — Cajun Red Tintcoat and Shadow Gray Metallic — and introduce two new ones — Cherry Red Tintcoat and Mosaic Black Metallic. And the front seat of the Work Truck, Custom, and LT trims will be a split bench with upper covered armrest storage instead of the 40/20/40-split bench seat previous model years had.
Chevrolet has also added on Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ as either standard or available features for the LT, LTZ, and High Country trims. SiriusXM® is now an option for the Work Truck trim, and both this trim and the Custom version will have two USB ports in the front.
For the Work Truck, Custom, and LT trims, you can select an auto-dimming rearview mirror, which includes a Bed View Camera with a partial video display of the cargo bed. Higher trims have a similar camera system, too, however the truck bed image will project on the dashboard center display instead of on the rearview mirror.
And you’ll have your choice of six special edition and package options when personalizing your Silverado 2500HD. Five special editions means that you can pick the aesthetic that matches your style and preferences. Select the Safety Essentials Package for more confidence when driving the Work Truck or Custom version of the model.
Test-drive the 2021 Silverado 2500HD when it arrives here at Blaise Alexander Chevrolet in Greencastle later this year. In the meantime, stop by our dealership to get behind the wheel of the 2020 version of this model.
