Chevrolet has released the upcoming 2022 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban, and these large SUVs pack more power and infotainment tech than ever. Wider engine availability and off-roading tech make these some of the capable SUVs around.
Whether you favor the massive Suburban or the slightly smaller and more maneuverable Tahoe, both deliver the features families need for daily driving and weekend adventures. For instance, the Tahoe can tow up to 8,400 pounds, when properly equipped, and the Suburban leads the large SUV segment in cargo space.
One addition to the Tahoe and Suburban is the expanded availability of the 6.2-liter V8 engine, which is now available on three more trim levels, making it more accessible to families who want the added power for family camping trips and more. One of those trims is the Z71 performance trim, which also gets the addition of an available electronic limited-slip differential that improves performance on rough terrain and slippery roads.
For drivers who do a lot of towing, the 2022 Tahoe and Suburban will also offer up to 13 camera views, including picture-in-picture and transparent trailer. A 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster helps keep track of important vehicle info, and the new Google built-in provides quick and easy access to Google Maps and Google Assistant. All of these help to take some stress out of towing jobs and long road trips.
